The last time he lip-locked on the big screen for ‘Dhoom:2’ he sparked a huge controversy; Bachchans were not too impressed with the actor going bold with their Bahu Ash.

Abhishek, who always considered Hrithik a good friend, has apparently not been at good terms with him ever since and it was quite evident when the Roshans did not make it to the guest list at the AbhiAsh wedding.

Based on insiders, Hrithik realized the conflict he had unknowingly initiated, and now the actor has opted never to kiss again on-screen. But Anurag, who is directing Roshan’s home production ‘Kites’, is insisting on an intimate scene for his next.

In ‘Kites’ Hrithik is paired opposite Barbara Mori, who despite speaking different languages fall in love with each other.

According to Anurag, an intimate kiss is quite the mandate as the two are attracted towards each other physically, but Rakesh Roshan is not sold on the idea of his son kissing on-screen and that too in his home production.

Anurag Basu is trying his best to convince Hrithik and Papa Roshan to consider his lips-sealing idea. Wonder if the director manages to fly his ‘Kite’ with a kiss.

Their clash is not restricted to on-screen, but the two telly stars have taken their rift off-screen as well; Shubhangi, who plays ‘Kasturi’, went missing for a week; the actress basically disappeared, she decided to switch off her cell phone and was unavailable at her home either.

Shubhangi was not happy with the pay check she has been receiving for her talented act on the show; Karan Patel, who plays Robbie, apparently gets paid twice the amount she does.

Shubhangi expressed her discontent, and when Balaji failed to pay any heed to her request, the actress decided to simply leave the show without informing anyone on the crew.

Karan in the meanwhile conveniently commented in his interviews that Shubhangi is unprofessional and that she lacks work ethic; now Kasturi is back on the sets, but Karan is in no mood to settle as the actor makes it a point to make big statement on Shubhangi’s attitude on the show.

Karan expressed that an actor has to take permission prior to leaving the sets and in this case the actress did not even bother reporting anyone on the sets and simply went missing for a week; he also added that Shubhangi does not exist for him anymore and that his interaction with her will be specifically restricted when the camera is rolling on the sets.

So will the war between Shubhangi and Karan affect their performance in the upcoming serials or are the two simply just great actors? Well, find out more on ‘Kasturi’.

Ajay Devgan’s brother Anil Devgan has directed ‘Haal-e-Dil’, and Ajay’s secretary-turned-Producer Kumar Mangat’s daughter Amita makes her debut in the movie.

Considering the great rapport that the Devgans share with Kumar Mangat, on would have expcted to see Ajay and Kajol be the guest of honor at the music launch event of the movie, which was initially on the cards as well, but however there was a last minute change to the plan initiated by Kumar.

Based on sources close to the production, Kumar visited Kajol and Ajay’s bungalow at Juhu a couple of hours prior to the event and asked the star couple if they would be fine with not being a part of the event; explaining his point of view Kumar expressed that the presence of big stars like Ajay and Kajol at the event might potentially overshadow the debutantes especially when it’s their first opportunity to present themselves in front of the media.

In his very convincing explanation to the Devgans, Mangat shared the example of Jackie Chan and Mallika Sherawat, who outshined Kamal Hassan at the recent ‘Dasvaratham’ audio launch in Chennai.

Kads and Ajay sure went with the producer’s request and decided to give the event a miss for the sake of Mangat’s daughter Amita, but we don’t think the move made much sense as the bland  ‘Haal-e-Dil’ music launch event with no star presence turned out to be ‘How-a-Dull’ party instead.

he promos of ‘Love Story 2050’ have sure generated the required buzz among fans, and Bollywood director Ashutosh Gowariker is so impressed with the pairing of Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja that he has signed the duo for his next.

Book adaptation seems to be the new mantra is Bollywood as after Rajkumar Hirani directing a movie titled ‘Idiots’ based on Chetan Bhagat’s ‘Five Point Someone’, it is Ashutosh, who is gearing up for his next based the book ‘Kimball Ravenswood’ by Madhu Rye.

Ashutosh has decided on the title of the movie as well, and it is ‘What’s your Rashee?’ The movie which will star Harman and Priyanka in the lead, is going to be a romantic comedy.

After directing period films, Ashutosh wants to try his hand at comedy and as Priyanka has proven to be quite the charm when it comes to comedy be it for ‘Mujse Shaadi Karoge’ or ‘Salaam–E-Ishq’, it didn’t take much time for the director to finalize his female lead.

Ashutosh was contemplating opting for Hrithik after seeing his terrific performance in ‘Jodhaa Akbar’, but the filmmaker was not sure if a comic role would be well suited for Hrithik, so Gowariker decided to cast Harman as he has strong resemblance to Hrithik and the ‘Love Story 2050’ debutante is said to good at comedy as well.

Priyanka and Harman, who feel in love on the sets of  ‘Love Story 2050’, are looking for more projects where they can work together and, with ‘What’s your Rashee’ their 'Love Story’ continues at least in 2008.
